Dan was born and raised in Dallas, TX where he spent his youth riding around on his bike, shooting things with his slingshot, and making pretty images. In 2002, he ventured out to New York City to further his studies at the School of Visual Arts. He has also served as an art director/instructor for over 18 years aiding students in crafting and developing their portfolios for admissions into art schools and universities.
Together with his partner Kayla Jang, Dan runs Art Lab Studio, an art space dedicated to innovations in fine arts, design, and education.
Dan's interests range from philosophy to combat sports as he continues to seek and capture meaning through imagery.
